Smooth eating

Have any of you parents been surprised by sudden changes in your kiddo’s eating habits? Our Mister Jem has always been eager to eat, well, everything! He has a huge appetite, an appreciation for veggies, and a willingness for things like curry and sprouts. Correction, he had! He’s now determined to refuse foods outside of his new preferences of bread, fruit, and yogurt. Hmm.
As we patiently (ohhh patience!) work towards his re-acquaintance with all foods, I’m ensuring he gets his fill of greens and other good things through yummy and creative smoothies. Adding berries, flax, carrots, sprouts, coconut milk, and whatever green or leafy thing is resting in the fridge, he is getting cups full of goodness. Now the project is to try pureeing the chickpea curry and seeing if he’ll notice the difference! 😉

been there!! Smoothies aren’t working on my kid anymore, I tried it again yesterday and ended up drinking it myself, so I’ve got to hide stuff in baking now!

Thoughts? Comments? Hmm....
