when we’re a family

There is a kind of laughter, a glimpse of moments, that can only be heard and seen by a mama smiling from a distance.  A three year old taking his first slide down a snowy hill with his Papa. A one year old dancing to the stirring of a cup or the clapping of a brother. A father and his boys building their first snowman, wrestling from couch to floor, sharing chores, reading stories.

Glimpses and smiles and moments and the songs of laughter.

Beautiful.

oh my! I just feel so so happy for you that you’re getting these moments, and for your sake I wish they’d go on forever! Yet you seem to be conquering these times apart and then together again with bravery and gusto! Well done! And yay for the ‘home’ moments!

Thoughts? Comments? Hmm....
